In addition to this great patrimony, Alsace also has a very interesting history which had a great impact both on culture and customs.

A trip to Alsace represents an excellent opportunity to discover a very specific wine region of France. With Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Sylvaner, you will have many different wines to taste and choose from especially in Mittelbergheim where wine producers are ready to introduce you to the wine process and culture.

Riesling
Riesling is the most elegant grape of Alsace. It gives dry, neat, graceful and well-balanced wine. It is known to be the finest Alsace wine and deserves it. Riesling is brilliant with fish, shell-fish, poultry, cold meat and famous Alsatian dishes such as sauerkraut or smoked ham.

Gewurztraminer
Gewurztraminer is the most typical and independent Alsatian wine. Gewurz means "spicy" in German. It is the main characteristic of the Gewurztraminer. It is a delicious wine, fruity and with strong aromas, a very perfumed and flowery bouquet. Thick and rich wine, which can age, Gewurztraminer is better with sauerkraut, sausages and the Alsatian cheese Munster, curry seasoned dishes, chinese and mexican cooking and other spiced dishes. A Gewurztraminer can even be served as a dessert wine.

Sylvaner

Sylvaner gives a pleasant, fresh, fruity and dry wine. It is better young served as an aperitif or with fish.

Let's discover the diversity of French vineyards: Champagne, Beaujolais Bourgogne, Alsace, Loire Valley, Rhone Valley, Provence, Bordeaux and Languedoc-Roussillon.
