Access by road : Take the "Route bleue" (N171) as far as Guérande. Then take the D774, to Batz sur Mer. The campsite is on the way out of the village, signposted "Le Coisic", opposite the windmill.

The Atlantic Ocean is less than 100 metres from this campsite, which welcomes you to its dunes. The far end of the campsite is shaded, for the tent pitches and some of the rented accommodation. The campsite is only slightly hilly (gentle sand dunes) and behind it is the region's only sandy beach. Behind you are the salt fields, where the famous Guérande salt is harvested. On one side is the village of Batz, on the other a stretch of land without any buildings. The windmill (still functional) stands over this stretch of land.

Campsite's plus points :
The large boules court close to the swimming pool, bouncy giraffe for the kids, close to the beachand to the village, beach volleyball court.

Nearby : Crazy golf 300 metres away, golf course (Le Croisic) 2 miles away, horse riding (Guérande) 6 miles away, tour of the windmill, fishing within walking distance.
Surrounding area : Europe's largest bay (La Baule) 3 miles away, the wild coast of Le Croisic and its palaces, the Ocearium, the open air museum, thefortress of Guérande, the Briète Marshes (trips in a yawl), visit of the Second World War German submarine base at Nazaire.
Not to be missed : Les Nuits salines (music festival), the high tides, themedieval market (Guérande), butter pancakes, Armoricain, mussels and chips, sardinade.
