Description :
The Campéole "Les Reflets du Quercy" is setin the heart of a green and verdant tourist region, renowned for its gastronomy and its wines, to the west of the département of Lot. Situated 10 miles from Cahors, close to major tourist sites such as Rocamadour (classed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO) or St Cirq Lapopie (classed as the "most beautiful village in France"), the campsite is an exceptional location, with its half-Olympic size swimming pool and its paddling pool for the children. Just over a mile from the campsite is a magnificent viewpoint over the Valley of the Lot, from where the more adventurous visitors will be able to take off on a paragliding flight. The campsite is on a gentle slope, partially shaded. Some of the pitches are set apart by small "Crayssac" stone walls or by Quercy oak trees.

Campsite's plus points :
Half-Olympic size swimming pool + paddling pool for children, TV/games room, allsports field + tennis court. There are taps available throughout the campsite, as well as 10 amp electrical sockets (make sure you have a European plug adaptor).

Surroundings :
Nearby : Lake Catus (pedal boats, etc.), Caix leisure centre, adventure trail in Cahors, water sports centre in Souillac (Quercyland), canoeing/kayaking and sailing on the Lot, the Dordogne, horse riding centre in Crayssac, paragliding from Douelle or Crayssac.
Surrounding area : Historical towns :Cahors (the Valentré bridge), Figeac (Champollion), Gourdon, Crayssac (Ptérosaures Beach), typical French villages (St Cirq-Lapopie, Puy l'Evêque, Montarq, Sarlat etc.), caves (Pech Merle, Lacave, Presque, Gouffre de Padirac), Rocamadour (UNESCO world heritage site), wildlife parks, châteaux and more.
Not to be missed : The local gastronomy with its typical markets (AOC Cahors wine, truffles, foie gras, "Rocamadour" goat's milk cheese, Le Quercy lamb, Le Quercy melons, walnuts etc.), the music, theatre, films, jazz, folklore and blues festivals.
