Daniel Jouvance chose to situate his Spa in the center of the Gordes Bastide, one of the most beautiful of France’s villages. Located in a charming 16th century mansion, it offers a magnificent view of the Luberon and the Alpilles. It is here that Daniel Jouvance once again shows his savoir-faire and knowledge of thalassotherapy and spas, while placing them in exceptional surroundings: the Bastide spa is spread over 800m2 on 3 levels, completely dedicated to restoring the peace and well-being of the spirit and body. The perfect harmony of the façades and the terraced gardens of Gordes seduced many artist such as Pol Mara and Marc Chagall. A maze of intricate lanes leads up to St Firmin’s church and to the massive hulk of a Renaissance château perched on the top of the village. Alongside the wall-bordered paths, Gordes adds up the natural beauty of age-old bories (small stone houses) covered in lauses (local flat stones) and at the center of a small lavender-hued vale, the stern and simple Cisrecian abbey of Senanque can be found.
