At the foot of the Pyrenees, this beautiful residence is a soothing stopover for discovering the beauty of the mountains. The peaceful rooms and the wonderful cuisine - with the pronounced rural accents of Gilles Ferran's region - are a treat for the eyes and the palate ... a guaranteed break along the journey.
The village is at the Pyrenees feet, it keeps the remains of a Roman oppidum built in 72 BC by Pompei on his return from Spain. King Herod was presumably exiled there. The city developed in the 4th. Sainte Marie Cathedral still has its 12th belltower, its cloister opening on the mountains and a gate showing the Wisemen’s adoration.
