Where to stay?
Between Toulouse and Albi, at the heart of the Gaillac vineyards, this fine château overlooking the valleys stands amidst the vines. In a subtle contrast between the old stonework and a modern design, the spacious rooms open up to the surrounding nature. The inventive cuisine follows the changing seasons and the services is friendly and convivial.
The village is walled behind a 1200-foot-long wall, its towers and fortified gates which are still in good conditions after sieges. Near at hand, you the Grésigne forest and the glassmakers’ workshops.
What to discover?
• Campement prehistorique (ateliers and exhibits): all year long on appointment.
• Chapelle St-Roch: everyday 10h-13 h/ 15h-19h from 1st of June to 31 August, 10h-12 h/13h-18h from 1st of September to 31 May.
