SarrantIn the heart of the musketeers’ country, Sarrant holds dear in its heart St Vincent’s church. The village’s main entrance is a 14th gate pierced in a square tower, a remain of the walls that surrounded Sarrant. If the walls and the ditches have gone, the houses still follow the round pattern of the former walls. The main street is lined with high stone mansions whose upper storey is timbered. The parish church was rebuilt after the religion wars.
