Orléans
Only an hour from Paris by car, Orleans opens the doors to Val de Loire, area listed to UNESCO World Heritage.
What to discover?
The town, regional capital, was at the heart of events that marked France history. Crossed by the Loire, Orleans was built around this king river. Strolling through the city, you may visit Sainte Croix Cathedral, Groslot Hotel, Campo Santo, etc. The town owns some worthwhile museums such as the Charles Peguy centre, Joan of Arc house, fine arts museum, historical and archaeological museum.
