The harbour of Limeuil, located where the Dordogne and Vézère rivers meet, has now become a pleasant and engaging place to see.
The village had a rough history, when it defended itself against the vikings and the english during the 100 years war. 3 fortified gates remain from these days and open the way to the city. Many houses have a blazon on their façades. A double bridge spans the 2 rivers : Dordogne and Vézère.
You will be delighted to come and discover a haven of peace and quiet at Les Terrasses de Beauregard hotel-restaurant, located in the heart of the Périgord Noir.
